Saturday night I made my first visit to the new academy to photograph Gammy award winning Imogen Heap. Imogen is amazing on stage and seems so at ease as she chats to the crowd, samples random instruments and drinks tea all at the same time. I think she was a little surprised to be on such a small stage particularly as downstairs the slightly less credible Kelly Clarkson belted out her "pop hits".

I would have loved to have shot the whole set as she is so captivating...maybe next time.
