Its 4am project time.......

A year or so ago I did a blog about the amazing 4am Project and this Saturday sees another night of photographic mayhem. If you don't know what the 4am Project is then read this and be enlightened:

"The aim of the 4amproject is to gather a collection of photos from around the world at the magical time of 4am. Everyone can take part and join in! All you need is a camera. We want to see what you see at that moment in time on that one day. What’s your view at 4am?"

started by photographer Karen Strunks and now going stronger than ever this weekend will be the perfect time dust of that DSLR, pin hole camera or even your phone and get out and see the world in a different light.

I missed the last event but I have dug out and re-edited some images I shot on the first event way back in 2009.

Hope you all have a great 4am where ever you are and hopefully I may see some of you:)

Kelly Moore Bags......

It's that time of the year again when the photographic community in the UK descends on the Birmingham NEC to drool, dribble and coo over the latest camera bits and bobs at Focus on Imaging. I spent an enjoyable day yesterday picking up info on some interesting new products hopefully coming to Lee Allen Photography very soon.

While I was there I spent some time looking at various bags that had caught my eye over the last few months with a view to purchasing a bag for general day to day shooting and one that would also be useful at weddings to carry lenses, batteries, cards etc. While there are a few on the market that do that job they are all VERY UGLY!!

So it's with great excitement that I give you Kelly Moore Bags....

Now I know you're going to say two things straight away:

  1. Dude - it's a girl's bag!!
  2. IT'S PINK

Yeah I know that, but it comes in lots of colours - and more importantly there is a man's version on the way!! I really can't wait to see the new "manly" version as I think Kelly's bags are just much more stylish than the other bags on the market - but don't take my word for it, this is what Kelly has to say...

"As a photographer and a woman, I was always left wanting when it came to my options for a stylish, functional bag that I could use to carry my equipment while I shot.

Over three years ago, I started sketching and dreaming about having a handbag/lens bag line of my own. I sat down and made a wish list of everything that I would want in a great bag, and now I am so excited to share all these features with you!"

Check out the inside of these bad boys and then tell me you don't want one:

There is still no date on the men's version but trust me when it lands I'll be blogging about it. In the meantime head over to http://kellymoorebag.com/ and check out the awesome range of colours and styles.

Super quick post - Crovie.....its up North.

Just after Christmas Adrienne and I jetted off (drove for 8 hours) to a cottage in the sleepy village of Crovie in North East Scotland. The weather was horrible...the skies were flat and it drizzled all week except for 10 minutes when I managed to run out and grab this....

Thats all just thought you might like it......:)
